| I have a titer of>1:2560, crp-15.20, raynauds, autonomic neurapathy. The doctor says I may have lupus or scleraderma. I do have all the other symptoms that go along with both of the diseases, but I don't have all of them. Can the doctors make a diagnose me these if all of the test aren't positive? |

I have a positive ANA, I don't remember the numbers, but my doctor said (in his opinion) they weren't that off. But I have thought I had Lupus for years now, but Doctors wont agree, yet cant disagree either. I also have raynauds, along with carpel tunnel. I had to have my gallbladder removed at age 16, which is odd. I have a lot of numbness problems (hands, arems and now face) and skin problems as well.
From what I know, there is no one test that tells you if you have Lupus or not, it's just a process of elimination and even then they seem hesitant to say that what it is, at least in my experience. Becuase of my recent face numbness I had to have a brain MRI, which came back normal. I think that rules out MS. So, I'm pretty much in the same boat as you, but sounds like your doctors are more open to saying Lupus. Good luck |
