hello, i'm a 21/f who is not currently sexually active. i have been having a dull ache in my lower right abdomen, beneath my belly button. the feeling went away until now when my period is ending. i don't have fever or nausea or vomiting. i know that birth control pills are sometimes prescribed to prevent ovulation, which lowers the chance of forming new cysts but does the same go for the birth control patch? i have a problem with taking pills. any experience shared will be greatly appreciated.
