| Hello guys. Alot of this stuff has proven to be so helpful over these past two weeks. Thanks... So-- I received a surgical abortion two weeks ago && things have been pretty normal. However, when i woke up this morning, && stood up, there were a decent amount of smaller sized clots in my pad. Like-- alot. I phoned the doctor, and let her know what happened and she said to call back if I soak through 2 pads in two hours... blah blah blah. I told her I had had sex with my boyfriend the day prior to yesterday, but failed to mention that I had gotten quite drunk last night. I didn't want to call back and ask her again, but do you guys think the clots may have something to do with drinking? I already know that my blood is thin, and since alcohol thins your blood, do you think that perhaps that was the cause? I know theoretically I should phone the doctor back, but they are already closed for the evening, and now, the weekend. I'm hoping osmeone has the answer, or at least some sort of soothing information, as I am freaking out like crazy! This whole process has been extremely scary for me, as I wasn't able to turn to my parents, or family. My boyfriend and his mother know, but their information and knowledge is limited, as well. I hope someone will be able to fill me in on some of this stuff!!! Thank you. |

ALCOHOL definately plays a HUGE role in bleeding, so does SEX!
Sex causes your uterus to contract, so basically you made your uterus kind of pissy, so you are bleeding.
Hemmorhaging is 2-4 pads in a few hours, like gushing blood, you would not be hemmorhaging. |
