what are the symptoms of infection following an abortion? I had a high fever yesterday and I only had my abortion 3 days ago. I'm ok today, just alot of cramping and alot of bleeding.

It is normal to have a day of slight fever after an abortion.

If it was above 101 degrees, and it lasted for longer than 1 day, it would be a worry.

Did they give you antibiotics after the abortion?
