post operative ovarian cyst patient

I had an ovarian cyst removed on Nov 26. went to Doctor for post-op exam on Nov 30. I was diagnosed with a bacterial staff infection in the incision areas. One was above the pubic area, the bellybutton and one on the right side of abdomen. There is now a hard lump on one of the incisions above the pubic area. What could this be? Is this something I should be alarmed about?
