I would like to corresponde with other wives whose husbands have had the robotic prostate removal. We are 2 months out of surgery and I am at a loss on how to convince my husband that he is still healing, that he is still a man..etc. etc. Guys who have had this surgery are also welcome to give me feedback. I am desperate.

Hi Guest
you are right , explain to your husband that he needs to relax and take his time with his recovery.
he needs to keep in mind that his nerves were pulled , pushed , and touched while his prostate was pilled off those nerves , and even if they spared and left intact it takes a long time to heal regardless of which nerve you touch in your body.
i am a PC survivor as well and i had the open surgery 11 months ago and i am still healing , it took me about 9 months to start feeling any kind of progress with ED and i am yet not there 100% it takes between 6 months to up to 24 months to heal those nerves ...with exceptional cases it may take shorter than 6 months .. the best medicine is patience.

He can do some recommended therapies like oral meds (cialis and viagra that helps to circulate the blood down there ) as well the Erectile Aid Pump which gives good results.

good Luck !!
