Hello, I am worried about my grand mother. She had a stroke a month ago. She is at home now, but she hasn’t recovered completely. She became concuss, but she forgets things, what she did or said. We were warned that post stroke time could be hard. Will she ever recover completely?
Hi, my grand dad had stroke few years ago and he never recovered completely. He wasn’t able to use his left side of the body only right one. He lived like that for almost 10 years. He died last year. Stroke can challenge every aspect of human performance including its sense of emotional well being and worthiness. Recovery and post stroke time is hard and achieving personal fulfillment through functional independence can be through the maintenance of a healthy life style including proper nutrition, exercise and medical care.
