Hi, 37 yr old female had tonsils out 09/13/07, day 11 started to bleed, ice rinse stopped it, day 13, started to bleed again, went to emerg, ENT did chemical cauterization, few hours later, started to bleed again, ENT did emerg surg to stop bleeding by cauterization, all was fine until day 16, really started to bleed, this time would not stop, landed in Emerg again, lost alot of blood, vitals poor, vomiting, ect... ENT did everything possible to try to stop the bleeding, would not stop, had to do emerg surg again at 5 am, to stop the bleeding, Finally, I am now on day 23, all is fine, Saw ENT, got a clean bill of health, just need to take it easy. Recovery time is slow, very weak, hard to eat, lost a fair amount of fluid, blood, and weight. My Question is how or what can I do to help replenish what I have lost. I really need to have the energy levels back again. as it is close to a month of lost work, and I also have to children at home that requires attention. I know that my experience is not normal, and that I think that the results will outweigh the complications, so I do not regret the procedure. But i would like some suggestions on what I could do to help. Thank you.
