pregnancy is again suspected by the patient ,has gone for pregcolr and found a faint trace.The color card is of last month manufacturing date.there has been an abortion by medicines as on 22nd dec06.bleeding has occured since then on a daily basis..the foetus got aborted and seen physically outside the body on 24th dec06,.What are the precautions to be taken.Is a sonogram advised at this stage??

the pregnancy hormones can stay in the body for weeks after an abortion and show up on a test.

although if they have been having unprotected sex again, it is possible to ovulate as soon as 2 weeks after an abortion!
