I am on bc and my bf and I have been using that as our pregnancy prevention. The last time we had intercourse was 4 months ago. I have been on bc for the last two years. I got my period the day after we last had intercourse and it was regular. The two months after that were regular too...but last month it was practically non-existent...honestly just a tiny bit of spotting...I took a pregnancy test just to check (I've heard you can have what appears to be 'regular' periods during your first few months of pregnancy) and it came back negative - this was a week after my "spotting" period. My doctor said this is normal and I shouldn't be concerned. Right after we last had sex I was diagnosed with mono and I wasn't sure how much of an impact this would have on it. I was really sick with mono for 2 months, but my periods were normal throughout the illness. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but is there any chance that I could be pregnant? My thought was that a preganacy test at what would have been 3 months would not have missed the HCG hormone...
