pregnant and feel betrayed and alone

hello there...i'm new on here

i just recently found out i was pregnant (my first-5 weeks 3 days) i'm due august 10th and i'm super excited(even though it was not planned)

my boyfriend is also really excited...but lately we've been having problems. i've caught him lying to me about the dumbest things that i don't even care about but it just hurts that he lies to me.

this has been going on for awhile..even before i found out i was pregnant. he's almost 28 and has no real job-jumps around a lot, he's horrible with money and smokes soo much. and i've tried to help him through everything for a long time and he says everythings gonna change everythings gonna change but it never does

i constantly get false promises. it's putting an incredible amount of stress on me and i don't need it. should i give him another chance? or should i just take a break for awhile until he sorts things out for himself and comes back to me more mature?

Well, I guess that this is something that you need to weigh on by yourself. He may change after the baby's born, many men do change and start taking things seriously and actually would do all kinds of jobs to provide for their child. The same thing may happen to your boyfriend as well.

We can't tell you what to do, you're the one who needs to see the pros and cons of having him around.

I know it's though for you now, being pregnant and not having a strong and mature person beside you. I really do wish you all the best!

He is an individual, your preganncy may not change him, and that is something you may have to learn to accept.

You may be alone in this, so you should look into all the resources you can find.
