is it ok to take methadone wile being pregnant. If so, then what milligarms should you NOT exceed?

Methadone is actually recommended for pregnant women who take opiates of any kind- there is no "limit" persay the idea is just to make sure you are comfortable so all energy can be devoted to making a healthy baby. Above all DO NOT allow yourself to feel withdrawl whatsoever. A great support site for moms on methadone is methadonesupport.org/pregnancy. good luck to you and congradulations (if you are pregnant and actually meant to re-ask this question)
