Posted: 10/26/06 - 09:26 Post subject: pregnant and still having periods?
this month I thought I was pregnant...My boyfriend and I have been trying to get pregnant. This would be our 7th month. I was completely sure. I started cramping a little and a week later I started bleeding. I thought it was my period but the cramps where a lot more intense than they have ever been. I was throwing up they were so bad and couldnt get out of bed for a couple days. I want to know if I still could be pregnant.
If anyone can offer any advice it would be greatsly appreciated.
thank you
THIS IS CARIFAIRY... My log in was not happening...
You cannot have a period while you are pregnant, BUT YOU CAN have bleeding THAT RESEMBLES A period. Usually this bleeding is not associated with heavy cramping or HEAVY DARK red blood, that is associated with a regular period.
Have you checked into a fertility monitor? Many women who are TTC find that their measurements were not as accurate as they thought they were, and can successfully concieve once they narrow the days down.
There are literally ONLY 3-5 days a month where pregnancy is likely.[/quote]

yes...not USUALLY....and the period wasnt that heavy...I know someone who had her period until she was 5 months into her pregnancy so it is possible. I know its not that likely but the alternative ie having to get my uterus removed is scarier than pregnancy...
