i live in the uk and i am pregnant with my third baby after i had my last baby i stayed in 3 days but that was against the drug midwives advice who was less use than a chocolate tea pot may i add, the midwife is saying ive got 2 stay in 5 days after i deliver this baby which is impossible as i have a 3 yr old at home i would like to know if any1 knows if there is any laws saying i have got to stay in 5 days with the new baby i would be so grateful for anty advice thanks

you will find they check baby for 3 days minimum safer to do this, as like us 3rd day worst if baby will show symptoms can be a week depends amount you are on, low dose i was on 35 mls with 2 my kids, 3rd babe i knew what look 4 though so i was only in couple days hun.
best for baby be safe than sorry.
