started taking ortho tri cyclen about three weeks ago. I have never been on birth control before this. My man and I have sex almost everyday(for about three weeks now and before that about 3 times a week) but he has never ejaculated inside of me. He has never used a condom either.
This past week or week and a half I have had all these symptoms that I am not sure if it is just side effects or if I am pregnant...
Side effects started with nauseousness. I sometimes could not even stand to look at food. Then I started having a lower back pain. My back feels like I need to stretch it out and pop it in the same place. I am now bloated (and have been for two days), and my breasts have noticeably grown and have been very sore to the touch for the past four days. The veins in them are also very visible now. I get headaches almost instantly now (but have always had a problem w/ headaches, just never gotten them so quickly). I am always hungry and I have had a terrible irritability. I also feel the need to take long naps everyday (and I used to not be able to sleep in the day time unless I was sick) I basically feel like a huge roly poly. Are these normal side effects for birth control pills?? I have never really had side effects for any medication before except for drowsiness. I hope all this goes away soon if it is only side effects... I still have 5 days until I should be getting my period.
My girl and I were having sex for roughly a month b4 she started taking bc... we used a condom every time but being a responsible male i still worried a lot! Once she was on the pill we continued to use protection every time because I was OCD. After taking it for a couple days she felt like she was going to be sick ect and thats when i started to worry. Then she was 7 days late and I made her take a test which came back negative. BC is all hormones so it can have a variety of side effects that dont occur when you take normal medication. (yea i can read the box). The only way to tell for sure is take a test. Don't get a cheap one... they said i was pregnant half the time.
