| I am 57 years old and I have just been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. Joint pain is something I always endured, but it became unbearable in past couple of weeks. So I went to a doctor and was prescribed with Cataflam. I would just like to know something more about that drug, efficacy, side effects etc. Can you help me out? |

| Cataflam is a medicament that comes from NSAID group of medicaments. It is an anti inflammatory, non steroid medication that inhibits the secretion of chemicals that act as inflammation mediators. The exact mechanism is not yet fully determined, but the drug's efficacy is very high. There are side effects, which are various, and numerous (nausea, headaches, allergic reactions...), and if any of those occur, you should ask your doctor for an advice. |
