The thing is that you have to see an ophthalmologist and try to find what’s causing tinnitus. There are many possible causes and in older adults usually caused by age and in younger people by exposure to loud music.
What happens is that hearing nerve endings get damaged which results in hearing loss and tinnitus. Tinnitus can be a consequence of excessive wax in the ear canal but it could also be a sign of an allergy, blood circulation problem, or a disorder called otosclerosis- stiffening of the middle ear bones.
Certain diseases like diabetes, thyroid disorders, drugs like antibiotics, sedatives, antidepressants, anti-inflammatories, etc could be causing the noises.
The treatment depends on the cause and it would be best if you turned to an ophthalmologist who is the most capable of all to take care of your problem. |
