| Can you teach me how to eat? I must have forgotten it. Some people are saying that swallowing is reflex function, the one you not need to learn and you can not forget. That is not my case. I am choking every time I start eating. I suppose that my muscles got weak because of amyotrophical lateral sclerosis, but I hope that I do not need tube yet. |

| Welcome to the company. I believe that even just born baby can swallow better then us. But a baby is healthy. But he way here are some advices that may help you. Make eating easier: take more time, be relaxed when you eat, concentrate on eating, focus on eating, eating position, take small bites, be prepared for bad thing, try to relax, try to take small breath through the nose, take food and liquid separately. I hope this will help you. |
