Hi has any one had surgery for there prolapse,and if so what type of operation did they have.I will be having an operation for mine,but first i have to have a colonospcy.Best wishes from scampy.

Hi there, I had a Stapled Transanal Rectal Resection for my prolapsed bowel. It is a fairly new op and they don't have to cut you open as they do the op through the anus. best of luck with the op. mine was completely successful and had no probs - that was one and half year's ago.
