I am 6 weeks pregnant and my doctor put me on prometrium- I was wondering what you were feeling when your doctor's put you on this and what effects did it have on your bodys (example: less cramps or more, etc)?
As far as I know, Prometrium is given to prevent uterine spasms. It must be taken until the 8 month or so, and then you are supposed to stop taking it, at about the time, your body would stop producing it before the delivery.
