Hello, I am female who is 24 years old. A weak ago, my brother was diagnosed for prostatitis. I don't know what could be the cause for this. So I would like if someone could tell me what causes there are for this condition? It would be nice that I hear only checked information. Thank you for your time.

Hi there, there are many causes. In most cases the condition can be caused by some infection but there are other causes too. The condition may be caused by STD. There are adequate tests for this so if there is reasonable doubt, then these tests may be a solution. There are causes which seems to be non infectious.
