me and my boyfriend had sex(protected) on dec. 22. i got my period a few days later but havent had one since. its febuary 21 and still no period. i took a hpt tonight and it was negative. but im never late like this. could i be pregnant??

Depending on your age, and how long you've had menses, there can be plenty of reasons that you haven't had our period yet.

It's always best to take an hpt with your first morning pee as the hcg is higher in the morning due to it building as you sleep through the night! Good luck either way!
