An incredible thing happened to me this morning. I woke up with an erection ( which was not so unusual ) which wouldn’t go down. That felt weird. It has been like that fro 2 hours now. I called my friend who is a medicine student and he told me that this condition is treated with Pseudoephedrine. Has anybody used it before. It is quite funny actually that I have always dreamt about having such long erection but now when it finally happened I am a bit, lets say, scared.
Look man, this condition of persistent erection is called priapism,, and it actually asks for a true urologic emergency. It is true that it is being treated with Pseudoephedrine but not without doctor’s orders. If the erection doesn’t subside in 4 hours or so, go to a doc immediately. Even if it does. This Pseudoephedrine is used to decrease blood flow to the penis and is very successful in early cases. If this doesn’t help, a doc may perform aspiration.
