I am a loyal birth control pill user (YASMIN) but still ask my boyfriend to pull out before he ejaculates. Is this necessary? Am I protected against pregnancy if he finishes inside me?

As long as you continue to take it lotally, you should be protected, yes.

The Pill having a 98% effectiveness means against unprotected sex with ejaculation, although many women on the pill opt to use it as a "backup" form of birth control, as well as pulling out or condoms, to ensure protection every time.
