I'm 27 weeks pregnant, and I've had this pulling sensation around my bellyutton when I stand up streight. When this first happend my first instinct was to lie down. I did, and it hasent gone away. I'm getting a little nervous.
Should I see a doctor?
This is my first pregnancy, I've had no surgeries..
If this is uncomfortable or painful, certainly call your doctors office. Your peace of mind as a new mom is really important. However the mostly likely culprit is just that as you have progressed in pregnancy, you have more growing and stretching to do. Also if your belly button was an "innie" previous and it hasn't flattened out yet that also might be what is going on.
I have a similar issue but I did have surgery previous and again during this pregnancy and was told it was just the "anchor" stitch and scar tissue (I have ovarian surgery in February).
