Hi, my father has high blood pressure for last several years. He was taking medications regularly but blood pressure was not under control from time to time. Last time when he visited his doctor he told him that he developed pulmonary hypertension too. I am afraid for life of my father so I would like to know what would be the best to do.
Hi, sometimes behind pulmonaryhypertension lies some other disease which is causing it. Anyway when you remove that because it doesn't have to necessary meant you will resolve problem with pulmonary hypertension. However there are ways to treat this disorder. Sometimes it has to be done with oxygen, diuretics and anticoagulants. Also there are agents which will make his heart to pump better.
