I have been in relationship for 8 years and it seems to me that with time I have less expectation then we started. I guess as you become more comfortable with that person, the less you need to expect from them. Thatâ€™s a good thing, but I am unhappy now and I want something to change. I decided putting relationship to test. I will ask him to marry me!

Great idea if you ask me! Proposal will putt your relationship on test. I also think people do have a set of initial expectations at the start of a relationship but as time goes on and you get to know that person I would imagine the expectations change as the relationship progresses because both people change and mature and therefore their wants and needs change as well.
