i have a surgery planned for in about 3 months, and i am getting work done on my right testicular area. I might have a hernia or it could be a fluid sack, or veins surrounding the testical and making it enlarged. The doctor said that if it is the vein one, my right testical may not work after the operation, does this mean i won't be able to have kids?

No, this doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to have children because you will still have another testicle left that will produce enough sperm for fertilization.

You are probably talking about varicocelectomy (regarding veins) and the outcomes are usually good regarding sperm count. How is it possible that you are having a surgery done without knowing what kind of surgery and without knowing what the problem is.

You can’t say I have hernia or varicocele, or a hydrocele (fluid filled sac). These are all different disorder with different treating techniques and surgeries with different symptoms and impairments.

I suggest you found a doc who will tell you what is going on with your body and who will talk to you openly about your problems and possible options and solutions.
