| Hello, I am 24 years old female and I have several questions about washing vagina. How should I treat it after hard urinary infection. I have had painful urination, sometimes with blood in urine. Thank God, it is all over now, but I would like to know if there are some ointments or special medical shampoos that can prevent further infections? Or am I just saying nonsense? |

| You are not. It is a good thing that you are thinking about prevention, rather then waiting and letting the bad thing to happen, and then act. As for washing vagina, I guess the technique is the same, all parts must be washed thoroughly and yes, there are some medical ointments that might help in a fight against possible infection. Still, the best thing would be a consultation with gynecologist. |
