I quit smoking a while back and have experienced very strange symtoms that include a cough and fever. The fever always accompanies the cough within a few hours. I take a few tylenol and the problems seem to disappear the next day.

This happened about 7 months ago when I quit "cold turkey". This time I am using the Nicorrette gum and have not had any nicotine withdrawls.

Any ideas?
