rash all over penus and scrotum

I have been worried for two days now. I have discovered that I have some reddish rash all over penis and scrotum and was not able to be peaceful since that moment. I have washed it very well and hoped that it will start to subdue within a day or so. But that did not happen. I am going to see a doctor in couple of days, but I would like to know what this might be.

I can say you right away that there is a possibility that you are infected by STD (sexual transmitted disease). I guess you have had sex in last couple of weeks (unprotected, or perhaps an oral sex). Now, you must not engage in sexual activity until there is a clear diagnose for your problem. I would also recommend that your sex partner goes for an examination. Do not worry, most of STD is easily treated at home. Be smarter next time, please.
