rash ars symptoms

Hello. I'm 44 year old male and for almost six years I have big problems with my back. I have developed some thoracic disc herniation and in these last couple of years I think I have had an X-ray examination at least fifty times.
I have never thought about this a lot but I have been experiencing these symptoms lately, one after another, not all together. I have noticed that I have developed some kind of rash on my skin.
I first experienced some small pinkish blotches on my left leg which disappeared after a day. But then, after few days, it has spread on some other parts of the body. A good friend of mine told me that this could be from some ARS- Acute radiation syndrome. Could this be true? Do symptoms of ARS appear this way?

Hello. I'm a medical student and about a year ago I have done one small project about radiation and its possible side effects on human.
I have also done a small research on this acute radiation syndrome and I will gladly tell you some stuff about it.
Acute Radiation Syndrome (ARS) is an acute illness caused by irradiation of the entire body by a high dose of penetrating radiation in a very short period of time. I'm very sorry to say but Acute Radiation Syndrome will usually be accompanied by some skin damage.
The most common skin symptoms are rash, inflammation, erythema, and dry or moist desquamation. My suggestion is- contact your doctor immediately and find out what is the real cause of your rash!
