rash sore throat

Hi, I am mother of 4 years old boy who is suffering from sore throat. My son told me yesterday that he feels pain in his throat and when I touch him I noticed that he has high temperature too. I gave him plenty of liquids to drink and ibuprofen for his temperature. This morning I saw rush on his body so I don't know what may cause it.

Hi, there are two potential explanations for rash and sore throat which your son experienced. It may be caused by streptococcus infection which sometimes may cause rash and the other possibility is that ibuprofen caused rash while sore throat may be caused by viral infection. It would be good to bring your son to the doctor and take swab.
