ive mixed adderall & marijuana, i took the adderall abour an hour or two before hand [20mg] & it didn`t do toooo much. but the marijuana really upped the high & it was great. considering it was my first time for both in about a month, it might have been a better high, but still. i felt the best i`ve ever felt & i couldn`t even light a cigarette. i`m not sure why but yeah. the low was absolutely horrible though. coming down sucked so bad.

I am looking for a serious answer to this question. I currently take lexapro and want to try adderall. Are they OK to take together.

Both drugs have been perscribed to me and I asked my doctor about weed, he schruged and said it's my job to tell you it's not good for you. I also drink like a fish. I can tell you after a year of this it's starting to take a toll so watch out. I'm trying to quit adderol but it's not easy.

On the positive side I wrote and directed my first film and was able to have someone invest half a million dollars into it. I would never have done it without the drugs. Watch out it changes you.

Really? I just started med school (it sucks) and have started taking 25 mg adderall per day, 2 days ago. I've also smoked weed almost every day for about the last 2 years. The mixture of Adderall and weed is amazing! it didn't make me sick; just really makes you feel all tingly and good inside:) It rocks because it makes you think that you have really really good bud. Maybe 25 mg isn't enough to make me sick, but this is pretty nice!!!

I'm 21 and have severe ADHD and take about 20 to 30 mg of adderall almost every day. I have smoked weed everyday for 3 years but have smoked it for about 5 years. My mom knows about this and freaks out on me about combining the two because she says marijuana is a depressant and adderall is obviously an upper. She claims this will cause an arrhythmia, is there any factual information that can disprove her theory?

I have taken Adderall, Lexapro, and smoked marijuana for over 2 years straight and have recently found out that I have a type of heart arrhythmia called Supraventricular Tachacardia. I can't say it is due to mixing these drugs or if it is just my bad habits (smoking, drinking, and coffee) on top of the stimulants that caused this problem. As far as mixing the Adderall and Lexapro that is completely safe. (I am not a doctor but have had this conversation many times with my Psychaitryst) Mixing the two with Marijuana never did anything to me except make me feel the effects of the adderall less. I always became tired when coming down from the high (from the pot). I would say try it and monitor your heart rate and if there are any adverse side effects. If there is then stop smoking or smoke a couple hours after taking your last dose of adderall for the day. If there's not then smoke up and enjoy. Everybody is different so only you can tell if it is ok for you. No doctor will say yes to smoking pot with or without medications.

Come to think of it I actually only started noticing the arrhythmia when I stopped smoking marijuana on a daily basis so maybe the pot helped? I don't know! Again, I am not a doctor. I hope this helps!
