reacurring epididymitis in sterilized man? does sex help?

I do not understand the physiology behind a man who has had a vascetomy, if sex would help or not and if so why in preventing the reacurance of epididymits,

It is said that vascectomy doesn’t make men more prone to infections like epididymits unless he suffered from the infection before vasectomy and this infection hadn’t been cured before undergoing vasectomy.
Sex doesn’t seem to help much in recurrent epididymitis.

I don’t know what kind of treatments you have been going through and if you are suffering from recurrent epididymitis pain or post vascectomy pain.

Has your doctor mentioned surgical removal of the epididymis called epididymectomy? Some surgeons/urologists are willing to perform this procedure for either recurrent epididymitis and for post vascectomy pain while many others refuse to do it since it won’t necessarily bring the relief from pain.

Other doctors have a habit of injection steroids to numb epididymis and bring relief for a few months and then you have to do it all over again.
