realtion between stunted growth and weight training

hi im 18 and wondered if weight training actually affects your natural growth. As for this reason i havent done any weight training for this very reason, as in the last 6-12 months have grown 2 inches, also increased in weight by putting on 12 kgs.

As i have heard that weight training will put your growth/energy into muscle growth. whereas not doing weight training means you can reach your maximum height, also allows your body muscles and bones to become more denser naturally. In the course of male growth all the way up to the early 20s.
