Posted: 12/14/06 - 21:25 Post subject: recurring Cysts on genitals |
| Hi I was just wonding if anyone could help me out. I have been getting cysts on my genitals (I'm a girl) that grow for 1-2 weeks until about the size of a quarter and then burst. My doctor said that is was normal the first time, the second time I didn't go in, and now I have a third one. Also, I have had lower stomach pain, back pain, diarrhea , and nausea lately that may be connected. If anyone can help that would be great! Thanks A lot. |

| I also have that same problem. I have been going through this for about 5 years now. Kept going from Dr to Dr. I have been on so many different antibitotics, pain medicine, warm wash pads, sitz baths. I did every thing that I was told to do. Finally, in the past 2 months,I found out that it was my Sebaceaus (i think I spelled it correctly) gllands. I had to have surgery because of it. I had 3 on my right side, groin area, 2 on my left groin area and 1 on the top of where my pubic hair meets my stomach. My surgeon and I thought that it would take care of it. I had the surgery 3 months ago, and had to go to Physical Therapy, wound care every day for the first week, then every other day for 2 more weeks. The healed nicely, but now I have some pretty ugly scars. I use cocoa butter on it. I have to have 2 more removed on Wednesday. We are hoping that this will be the end of it. There is no cure for it. In the words of my doctor, it's like diabetes, it's not contagious, there is no cure, but surgery has alleviated the pain. Good luck to you, and I hope that you get the care that you need. Have your doctor, or GYN (thats who sent me) to a surgeon. They know what they are dealing with, and how to help you get through it. Also ask your GYN for immune building vitamins. They help some, and the outbreaks are farther apart. So, let them know that you have cysts that need to be removed. Hoped this helped you out some. If you need more info, you can email me at dsvirgo15@yahoo.com. I would be more than happy to talk with you about it. At least you know now that you are not alone, like I was. |
