red, raised area on either side of penile opening

hi im 17 years old, never had sex or engaged in any sexual activity,
the area on either side and around my penile opening (meatus) is slightly raised and is red and shiny. im wondering what this might be, thanks in advance for replies

it does not hurt and i think ive had it for a long long time, 3 years maybe?

if its like a really red color and looks irritated maybe its from masturbating too much?
otherwise it could just be whats normal for you. if you never have any pain and aren't sexually active at all (including touching, fondling) then i wouldn't worry about it.
but if you have concerns show your doctor. get used to it, i know you're young and aren't comfortable with it but as we age more and more we have to involve our doctors in areas we would rather not! might as well start now.
