both my boyfriend and I have had sti/std tests done twice and all results have come back negative yet something is not right.
often after sex my boyfriend has red marks on the head and shaft of his penis and red lines like cuts, they look very sore. during sex when he has these marks afterwards i feel a burning sensation and am left sore also. its as if we're having an allergic reaction to each other. is this possible? no other contact between us has this effect. my boyfriend has also been to the doctors and, because it is quick to fade the doctor couldnt diagnose. please help.

Get a herpes blood test---it's not a standard STD test but that sounds like HSV |

| This happens penty of times with my boyfriend and mysekf. I brought this up with my gyno and she says that most likely i have an allergic reaction to his sperm and that his problem is that sometimes im not lubricated enough and therefore it is like having "dry" sex and the friction creates the sores on his penis. For me she recomended a yeast infection cream in the menatime and for him she said that Neosporin should do the trick. FOr future times if you notice that the problem could be that youre not "wet" enough then suggest to your partner using some type of lubricant or oil for that purpose. Hope that helps. |

| The last few sexual encounters with my girlfriend have been the same. I get some cuts on the shaft of my penus and it gets really irritated, along with some burning when I urinate. She gets a burning sensation ont the lips of her vagina, and also when she urinates. Did you ever get an answer from your gyno? Would a urologist be the right person to see in my case? |

| Ok, assuming neither of you has any genital piercings, it could be that one of you is allergc to the other's sperm, secretions, etc. There was recently an episode of Oprah where a wife was actually allergic to her husband's sperm. One solution is to wear a condom. Go to a doctor who is knowledgeable in this area. |

| is it possible to be allergic to a womans vaginal secretions? what about saliva? and can you -become- allergic to it over time? this same thing has been happening to me with my girlfriend for a while but was not present for the longest time. |

| I am having the same problem. I have been with this girl for almost 2 years and in the last 3 months i have been getting small lesions from under the rim to about half way down. Sometimes they disappear within a couple of hours and other times they take days to go away. I can say that we have normally taken a shower immediately after sex so that we can go to bed "sweat free", but for the last 3 months we have skipped the shower. So this could have been an issue for us all along. This is very annoying to both of us as we both plan to be together for the rest of our lives. I have always been slightly allergic to citric acid and have been thinking that maybe her acid levels are high. If this is the case we may be able to fix it because I've heard that women can manipulate their acid levels by following a certain diet. So those of you with this problem should try showering after sex so that her fluid doesn't have a chance to effect your skin. And if anyone has any ideas about the acid being an issue please reply. |

I have a similar situation but It started with one small bruse then recently i am seeing the same reddish mmarks like cuts and it hurts when i want to pull the skin back |
