I had a hysterectomy with a bladder lift on 7/10/07. I had a catheter for approximately 24 hours. That was taken out, and when I was unable to urinate another one was put in for two days. It was removed on 7/13/07, but I can not relax enough to be able to urinate more than a few drops if even that. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem for a couple of weeks after my hysterectomy. The doctor told me it could happen. Try (sounds strange I know) pushing your pelvis up on one side, it seems to tilt the bladder and worked for me. If one side doesn't work, try the other. After a couple of days, once the flow started I could sit level again. Eventually I didn't have to sit cockeyed any more.
