My days in the gym have started two weeks ago. I still catch up with the basics rules of body building. First I have paid attention on breathing, exercise technique, and nutrition. Now I have noticed that there are some more rules I need to learn. Tell me what is the best repetition speed? Should I take it slowly or fast?

Most people think that slow repetitions are the best way to raise weights. They think that gold rule is to lift it for two seconds and to lower weights for four seconds. On the other hand some people think that the best way is to do it fast and eccentric. I do it slowly with proper movement and control. The muscles are on the pressure during all movement.
