Hello there, I am 19 years old female who has one question for you. Can you tell me what restrictive lung disease actually is? I mean, I know what it means but I would like to know more. It would be nice if you help me out. Sorry to waste your valuable time. Thank you in advance for every answer you give me.

No need to apologize, I will do my best to help you out. This condition is a chronic one. Because of it a patient can't breathe in normally. Two types are most common. First is interstitial pulmonary fibrosis, and second one is extrapulmonary restrictive lung disease. For the first type, in most cases, the cause for the condition is unknown. Using of effective coughing techniques and relaxation techniques might be successful sometimes.
