right sided flank pain, almost a spasm like pain on movement

I have over the weekend begun to expeerience pain in my right back side just below my waist. It feels like I have pulled something but have not done anything to match that kind of pain. It aches now constantly. It feels at times upon movement that I have a spasm of some sort. I am concerned but need more innfo before I go to my doc.
