ok so i have massive sort of rings under my eyes. The skin is sort of softer and goes in more. From pictures I've seen, I've had them since I was young and my mum has them slightly, so I'm guessing its hereditry, but is there anything I can do, other than cover them in make up, to reduce them?

Half the people in my family have that dark, hollow, under-eye thing going on. It is hereditary, but some things like dehydration, not enough sleep, etc. can make them appear much worse than they would on "normal" people.

At my age, rings under my eyes are the least of my worries, so I haven't tried anything for it in a long time. However, my daughter has desperately tried quite a few different so-called remedies. The only one that worked for her was an Avon product that was not make-up, but rather some sort of under-eye cream that came in a little bitty tube. I don't know if it worked by plumping up the skin or what, but the result was definitely noticeable after a few weeks. Or rather, the rings were quite a lot less noticeable. Sorry I don't remember what the stuff was called; they probably still sell it though.
