Roxycotin is actually Roxicodone, which is a brand of Oxycodone. It is a controlled-release form of oxycodone prescribed to treat chronic pain. When used properly, as prescribed, it provides pain relief for up to 12 hours.
It is individually prescribed and it is forbidden to give it to anybody else.
It is very much prone to for non-medical use and abuse. Youngsters take it with alcohol today. Deaths have been reported from the oxycodone abuse.
Where did you learn about this drug? Have you been prescribed for chronic pain or you know somebody who’s maybe even abusing it? It is probably very easy to get it in the streets nowadays.
The drug is agonist opioid. When administered, oxycodone binds to the opioid receptors. Many physiologic responses occur like pain relief, slowed breathing and even euphoria. Frequent use may lead to tolerance and in the end addiction. |
