Before my boyfriend and I started living together, I didn’t even know that he uses so much salt in his food. I always try not to make too salty food, because I know too much salt is not good for the body, but he keep insisting on more, and more and always asks for additional salt. How bad can this be?
Too much salt can be pretty bad as it can cause fluid overload and heart disease. One of the most reasons for salt cravings is dehydration. Dehydration is caused by not taking enough fluids and salt helps body hold on to water. All you can do is tell him this and make him drink a lot of fluids.
