| My daughter, 28, had her gall bladder removed 2 1/2 years ago. About 6 months ago, she developed a shape pain on her right side where the gall bladder was. The pain radiates around to her right back area. She also has trouble eating, bloating, reflux, and gas. Recently she has a CAT scan done which showed that there is scar tissue which has attached to the intestine. The doctor believes that this is the cause of the pain and the other problems she is having. When she asked about having the scar tissue removed, the doctor stated that even if this was removed, other would develop. She is now thinking that she will have to live with this forever. It effects her daily activities and feels sick all of the time. I would like to know if the scar tissue can be removed so that her intestine works the way that it should, what procedure can be done, and will new scar tissue develop causing the same problem she now has. We are all desperate to find an answer. Hope you can help!! |
