i have been having this problem for 15 years now and its getting worse, it started as a little dry flaky spot and through the years it has gotton very bad now it is all around my balls , dry flaky skin i just keep on scrathing it because its itchy . When i sleep i dont know it but wake up because`i` have scratched `through too many layers of skin. Its almost like its a nightly routine i just keep on scratching not even knowing it . My skin cant grow`back fast enough. I have been to doctors and they give me some cream/gel but its not helping. Once in a while it gets a little infected and little puss balls apear then go away but its the scratching i cant stop , day time its not that bad but night time when i have nothing to do i start scratching again. Very frustrating Embarassed

don't worry. i have had that same exact problem for about, maybe 11 or 12 years now. exactly how you describe it. i have never gone to a doctor, i've just learned to deal with it. i don't think it's anything serious at all, it's just a skin condition that is probably untreatable unless you're put into a coma or something where you're forced to not scratch AND get some sort of major treatment, or daily vitamin dosage. i've come up with nearly every theory in the book, and i think that it's got to do with vitamins that your body needs to provide enough moisture to certain areas. i also have the dry skin around my eyes, under my ear lobes, and around my anus. luckily, my girlfriend is not bothered by this, so i don't worry so much. i seriously don't even think about it that much anymore, and like i said, i don't think it's anything life threatening or contagious. maybe one day if i'm ever rich, i will pay a doctor a lot of money to REALLY treat me. until then, i'm not going to waste my time and money on something that is probably not curable. that's my story! hope it's helpful.
