I love that after 3 1/2 years with essentially little or no sleep that seroquel has finaly allowed me to get some sleep. I still wake up and don't sleep through the night but any sleep is appreciated. I'm taking it for anxiety and insomnial, however I have now been told that my triglycerides are way up (300) from when I started it and I now have to wean myself off of it and try something new. I have gained 35 pounds since starting it a few months ago, but am sitll not happy about having to give it up (and the sleeping it allowed me. Is there any other similar drugs that do not cause weight gain? Please tell me something else that would help with the anxiety AND insomniaa since not sleeping for so long (due to two high-maintenance kids who were preemies and still don't sleep well themselves) is what put me into anxiety and depression and I don't want to go back there. I need to be a good mum who also takes care of myself. Sad
