I am on Seroquel treatment for 3 weeks and I found out yesterday that I am 5 weeks pregnant. Can Seroquel affect my pregnancy? What I should do? Should I stop with drug? My next appointment is in 4 days. I am worried that it may harm the baby.
You are right to be worried the possibility of harm to a developing baby has not been ruled out. You should notify your doctor that you are pregnant and he will tell you what to do. However, Seroquel is in the FDA pregnancy category C, so this means that it is not known whether Seroquel will harm an unborn baby. Again, I don’t think you should take this medication without first talking to your doctor if you are pregnant.
